How do I set a custom background?
Open Settings (gear icon) → tap "Background Image" → select an image from your photo library. Use pinch gestures to zoom and position the image, then tap "Done" to save.
How do I customize button colors?
Open Settings → scroll to the button you want to customize → tap to expand options. You can change the background color, text color, or add a custom image.
How do I add custom button images?
In Settings, tap on any button → enable "Custom Image" → select an image from your library. The image will be cropped to fit the button shape.
How do I change button sounds?
Open Settings → tap "Button Sound" → choose from built-in sounds or select a sound from your music library.
How do I save a theme?
Your customizations are automatically saved to the current theme. To create a new theme, go to Settings → Themes → tap "+" to create a new theme based on your current settings.
How do I share a theme with friends?
In Settings → Themes → tap the share icon next to your theme. This creates a .calcyoulater file you can send via AirDrop, Messages, or email.
How do I import a theme?
When you receive a .calcyoulater file, tap it to open. Your device will ask if you want to open it with Calc-U-Later. The theme will be added to your theme list.
Why can't I see my custom fonts?
The app includes several digital display fonts. Make sure you're looking in the LCD Display settings to change the calculator display font.
Is my data backed up?
Yes! Your themes and settings are included in your iPhone backup (iCloud or computer backup). They will be restored when you restore your device.
Does the app work offline?
Yes! Calc-U-Later works completely offline. No internet connection is required.
